Meet Wes Douglas
Wes is a professional designer, illustrator, graphic recorder and concept artist working in the Chicago area for the past 30+ years. He has created new concept designs for SC Johnson, Sara Lee Coffee and Foods, Philips Oral Health, Allstate Insurance, Blue Cross Blue Shield, CNH (Case New Holland – construction and agricultural equipment) and many others.
He is an award-winning art director and co-founder of an Elmhurst-based innovation agency. Wes developed “Speaker Sketches” (his unique creative meeting notes which blend hand-written words and sketched pictures), concept visualizations, and package designs. He is also the primary book illustrator for the Amazon best-seller, “Free the Idea Monkey (to focus on what matters most)” by G. Michael Maddock.
He has been a drawing instructor at the DuPage Art League in Wheaton, specializing in urban sketching on location as well as Word Portraits.
