Nicholas C Malleos
Nicholas C. Malleos has become a master of the photographic arts. As a self-taught photographer and video production specialist, as well as an FAA certified 107 drone pilot, he has developed an exceptional eye for detail and composition.
Nicholas has a unique gift to tame light and manipulate color. The transformation of light to color to canvas is Nicholas’s passion, driving him to create stunning visual artwork.
A born artist, Nicholas began his creative journey as a child who excelled in instrumental and vocal performance. When he took up the saxophone in fourth grade for the first time, his family was stunned as, without any training, he was able to play Joy to the World intuitively. It was a telling moment, as Nicholas’s affinity for the arts have always been a means by which he brought joy to himself and others. Throughout the rest of his youth, he became well known as an exceptional soloist, instrumental musician, and theatrical actor.
After high school, Nicholas set out with a Gospel vocal band on a one-year tour of North America. It was during that time that he truly experienced the beauty that this world has to offer. Sharing that beauty with others became a life goal, originally through music but eventually through visual mediums.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Theological Studies from Concordia University in River Forest, IL. After spending sixteen years in the education field, Nicholas decided to take a bold step in 2005 when he shifted careers to become a full-time Real Estate Broker. After developing a successful real estate business and obtaining his managing broker’s license, Nicholas found himself drawn back into the arts. The necessity of real estate photography beckoned him back to his first and truest calling as an artist.
After years of studying various professionals as he worked with them to arrange photos of his listings, Nicholas focused on learning the technique of bracketing with different exposures. Eventually, his love of photography evolved until he felt compelled to develop his skills and embrace his renewed artistic passion. The first time he snapped a photograph using his brand-new Nikon camera, he knew it was right. Photography is the gift he was meant to explore and share, capturing the beauty of God’s glorious creation for himself and others.
In 2019, Nicholas made another bold decision and developed a subsidiary company to run alongside his real estate business. The newly created www.TMGMediaWorks.com is now a successful company specialized in offering both photography and cinematic videography.
