This adventure started as every adventure does. . . Once upon a time an overworked underpaid woman was jealous. She was jealous of another person in her own home. Her beautiful talented college aged daughter had to take a ceramics class to get into the master's program of her dreams. She was playing in mud daily for hours on end and her mother was jealous.
Fast forward several months. . . This overworked underpaid woman was about to retire after years and years of educating her family. She says to her hubby, "I am so jealous of said daughter!" Hubby briefly looks at her and says, "Then you should take a class." He then sips his bourbon while they sat on the back porch together. So, she immediately sees what she can do about this brilliant suggestion.
And they lived happily ever after.
Well, this story brought me here at this place and time to teach the students at Naperville Art League. I have always been an artist, but ceramics have captured my heart and imagination. I am so honored to be part of your story.
