Martha Economos
Painting art became a hobby for me when my children got older and started needing me less. This NEWFOUND freedom enabled me to take a couple of local art classes and from there my love of painting began. My first ever commission was a pet portrait for a friend who took a chance on me which, in turn, grew by word of mouth.
Along the way, EXPERIMENTING abstract art became my primary focus, and I have been growing my business ever since.
My work includes contemporary abstract oil painting and pet portraits. Inspiration stems from summers spent in Saugatuck, Michigan on the lake and beach vacations abroad with family. I have recently expanded my business into prints of my originals while CONTINUING experiment with different techniques and styles.
