IG: here.
For as long as I can remember, I always drew. My drawing preference, when I was younger, were portraits and figure drawing and my painting style was impressionism. I put art on hold to raise a family but two years ago, I decided to draw and paint again and began looking into abstract art.
I found that with abstract art, there wasn’t so much of a need for perfection, but it was more intuitive and free form. I enjoy creating very detailed, layered backgrounds with lots of colors and textures, so that every time you look at a painting you can see something different.
These backgrounds remind me of forests, so I have fun with adding birds or flowers.
