So, what is Bart Art? Glad you asked. Bart Art is me expressing myself through tubes of paint. The creative process is exhilarating, maddening, humorous, and thought provoking. When I create, I am able to let go and have my intuition lead the way and color be my guide. I feel at peace and joyful when I create. What more can you ask for?
I am mainly self-taught and try to assimilate my experiences into my artwork. Though I don’t always know what I’m doing, I do know what I’m feeling. I have a restless nature and my need for movement often shows up in my work.
Since I like to eat and need to pay my bills, I work as a Massage Therapist. Previously, I was in the Human Service field helping individuals with physical and or mental disabilities. My goal was to help them reach greater levels of independence. It was rewarding work, but I feel most at home creating and developing my artistic interests.
Please feel free to purchase a painting (actually you can purchase a truckload) and know that you are also contributing to a great cause. Ten percent of profits go towards supporting such worthwhile causes as: Amnesty International, Heiffer, National Alliance for the Mentally Ill, and others.
Thanks again for stopping by and remember it’s…
“Better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.”
