In this course, students will create their own Klimt-inspired composition using gold leaf. Demonstrations of working with gold leaf will be provided by realist artist Denise Laurin. Students can create their own design using Klimt-inspired shapes and/or stencils supplied by the instructor.
Supply list: Mona Lisa Gold leaf 5.5” squares, package of 18; 8” x 10” black canvas; small container of Vaseline, 5-10 cotton balls; Mona Lisa Adhesive size and Mona Lisa Sealer, both 2 fl oz.
