One Artist Journal Collage Workshop, April 28-29, (9:30am-4pm), Friday & Saturday

There are some wonderful tactile feelings we can receive when we hold a book in our hands. A sense of comfort, safety and the connects like a dear friend. Most books we just hold and open it up to the pages but a book that has a closure attach take more attention. When opened and closed many times it will create a pattern that awaken our sense to be present in the moment. And to close the journal the sense of being done for the moment is a sign of letting go. Letting go your thoughts, your words, your creative essence on the pages.
This workshop will have you repurposing papers, using found papers and altering with inks and acrylic paints to make gestural marks with collage elements throughout. Pamphlet stitch will hold it all together. Please Join me in this two-day workshop.
