Stella Spiridonova
Artist with over 25 years' experience in exhibits, galleries, studios and teaching. I participate art shows locally and internationally.
Artist freelancer with an MFA in mural painting with an active substitute teaching license for state of IL. Classes taught at schools, park districts and after school programs. Art Instructor at Young Rembrandts. Tutor for children 5-18. I also conduct paint parties for all ages.
Certified Art Instructor for Grumbacher. Art Instructor online for Outschool, San Francisco, CA. Experience in design and decorations. Special interest in acrylic, oil and watercolor. Done series of projects for mural painting and large size drawings.
Ultimately when teaching I want to see my students graduate as thoughtful makers, creators, designers and independent thinkers. I enjoy accompanying them in the process of discovering their potential and addressing their weakness and hopefully their path will lead them to artistic excellence and independence in all areas of life.
The pride seeing your great creation that you never can see inside your brain exactly before it appears on the canvas as a unique copy of the human vision is my challenge of teaching.
At my spare time I like to travel, hiking, skiing and outdoor painting. My favorite pets are the birds, especially the parrots.
