As a portrait painter, I stand on the shoulders of some wonderful teachers.  I continue to learn from workshops, portrait conventions and lots of practice.  I am blessed with a husband who has always been supportive of this pursuit.  I live in Wheaton; have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren whose portraits are a joy for me to paint. I majored in Elementary Education and minored in Art Education from Purdue University.  I taught children’s classes privately before teaching the art program at Wheaton Christian Grammar School.  I now paint exclusively from my home studio.
