WHAT: “Hokusai & Ukiyo-e: The floating World” Exhibition at the Cleve Carney Museum of Art at the McAninch Arts Center, COD, Glen Ellyn, IL

Diana will discuss this exciting, newly opened exhibit that includes 70 pieces from the Edoardo Chiossone Collection never before seen in the U.S. The exhibit includes historical Edo & Ukiyo-e works focusing on the lives of Hokusai, Hiroshige and Chiossone, along with the development of ukioyo-e and its lasting impact.
The Cleve Carney exhibit also includes an Edo streetscape walk-through experience, immersive history of manga and anime, a Hokusai kids creative area, “Great Wave” garden, the art of woodblock printing, and so much more.
