Layers of papers, coated with gloss medium, fused with an iron to watercolor paper. This method of college doesn’t involve wet adhesives. The coated papers fuse with heat, allowing students to explore the surface of the collage papers by working with the elements and principles of design. Exercise will be explored at first to loosen up any tightness and uncertainty of all the materials being used. Students will also explore other mixed media methods like stamping, stenciling, splattering and gestural marks on the surface of the collage papers to embellish even further. Papers made in the class before this one- Paper Palette Building for Collage will be welcomed.
