Everyone wants to create a nice piece of artwork, but composition is the stumbling block in most cases. In this class we will first work in a sketchbook with magazines exploring the process of how some compositions work and others don't. Students will move their sketches to the substrates of watercolor paper, by creating papers in likeness to their sketches with the option to mount them on the wood panels. A personal collage palette will be created using the tack iron method of collage application.
