Beth Sparks has very little to say for herself. She has had very little formal art education and received even less formal acclaim (although she manages to attract the positive attention of other artists and her teachers, much to her bewilderment and chagrin.) Beth approaches each piece (...y'know, I'm the one writing this, so I'm just going to switch to first person now, because writing about one's self in third is a bit strange) with the intention to say something, although I will be the first to admit that I'm not always quite sure what that something is (I have a theory that goes something like this: everything we make, every song we sing, every time brush meets canvas or pen meets paper, we are expressing a moment in time, and the sum of those moments, the sum of what we are making, express more perfectly than anything else in the world what it means to be human, despite the fact that even if we lived infinitely long and could create infinite works, we would never be able to fully define what we are.)

I am interested (and by interested, I mean really do terribly want to) in taking commissions for watercolor and acrylic pieces.
